Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday: Sonata, Lennon & Moxie

It’s Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!

This week we have Sonata, Lennon and Moxie—just three of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.

First up, meet Sonata. She’s a Jack Russell terrier.

Sonata is a senior dog looking for a home to live out her golden years.

She loves treats, being held and napping.

Since she is older she does have some health issues including arthritis.

You can meet Sonata at the Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City.

Next up is a pointer mix named Lennon.

He is around five or six years old.

Lennon is very sweet, affectionate and playful.

He does have hip dysphasia, but a very kind donor has offered to pay for his surgery.

You can find Lennon at the Animal Rescue Coalition of Mecosta County in Big Rapids.

Lastly, meet Moxie. She’s a domestic shorthair.

Moxie is young and loves to play all day long.

She likes to chase after toys for hours.

Moxie also likes to find a high spot to perch and just watch what’s going on around her.

Once all the play is done she likes to snuggle and nap on your lap.

You can meet Moxie at the Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City.

Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
