Grant Me Hope: Josiah

He’s your average kid, with a more than average dream of finding a forever family. tells us more about himself, and what he’s looking for in a potential mom and dad in this edition of Grant Me Hope.

Josiah is 14-years-old and in the 9th grade. “I’m friendly and I have a lot of friends,” he said. “I like listening to music and hanging out at the mall with my friends”. In addition to being a great buddy, he enjoys playing sports like basketball, football, and soccer. One of his favorite subjects in school includes math because he likes to solve equations.

According to his social workers, a two-parent forever family would be a good fit for Josiah. His new parents need to make sure Josiah gets the services he needs. His parents should be experienced and trauma-informed. They also will need to be patient and understanding as Josiah transitions into his new home.

Finally, Josiah would do best as the youngest child in his new family.
