Alpena Woman Charged with Home Invasion
An Alpena woman is facing several charges after Michigan State Police say she broke into the house she used to live in.
Troopers were called to a home in Alpena Township off of US-23 on March 15. The homeowner said he had recently purchased the house and had been renovating it.
When the homeowner arrived at the house on March 15, he found several tools missing and a broken back screen.
After an investigation, an arrest warrant was put out for Cheyenne Villeneuve from Alpena.
Villeneuve is charged with home invasion and malicious destruction of property.
Troopers say a man and a woman also helped Villeneuve break in to the home and have been charged with breaking and entering.
