Gov. Whitmer Heads to Northern Michigan for Vaccinations & Infrastructure

Governor Gretchen Whitmer is headed to Northern Michigan on Thursday to get a first-hand look at our vaccination effort, but she has more than that on her agenda.

The governor’s first stop of the day will be in Clare to look at the construction site on US-127.

There she will be discussing her Rebuild Michigan Plan and her $300 million proposal to rebuild several crumbling bridges around the state.

After that she will make a stop in Traverse City to sign legislation that would help protect Michigan’s natural resources.

The governor’s last stop will at a Petoskey vaccination clinic to look at the progress and discuss her “MI Vacc to Normal” plan.

Northern Michigan’s news leader will be following the governor’s trip through the area and will have full coverage throughout the day on 9&10 News.
