Biden Heads to Philadelphia for Amtrak’s 50 Year Celebration

Some might call Joe Biden the Amtrak president.

This year is Amtrak’s 50th anniversary, and he wants to help them celebrate.

As a senator, Biden rode the train to work between Delaware and Washington, D.C. almost every day.

He continued riding as vice president and during his campaign for the presidency.

Because of security concerns, Biden will be flying to Philadelphia on Friday for the Amtrak celebration.

His infrastructure plan sets aside $621 billion for roads, bridges and public transit like Amtrak.
