Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday: Nyla, Harold, Heidi & Jay

It’s Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!

This week we have Nyla, Harold, Heidi and Jay—just four of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.

First up meet Nyla. She’s a Shiba Inu.

Nyla is five years old and can be shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up to you she loves to cuddle.

Nyla also enjoys being outside.

She likes to play fetch and go on long walks or runs.

You can meet Nyla at the Humane Animal Treatment Society in Mount Pleasant.

Next up we have a brother and sister.

Their names are Harold and Heidi and they’re Chihuahua’s.

These puppies are only three months old.

Harold and Heidi are very active and playful.

You can find the dog duo at the Great Lakes Humane Society in Traverse City.

The humane society wants them to go to the same forever home.

Lastly we have a young cat named Jay.

He is very confident and loves to explore new places.

Jay also enjoys long naps.

His favorite things are snuggles, chin scratches and cozy beds.

Jay is easygoing and just wants to be loved.

You can meet him at the Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City.

Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
