In honor of National Pretzel Day, The Four’s Monika Zachara is taking you to the Petoskey Pretzel Co. in Traverse City for some warm treats!

The average salty mall snack just leveled up. With nine different pretzel flavors and 14 dipping sauces, there is something here to satisfy anyone’s cravings. Whether you like salty or sweet, the shop prides itself on the quality of its fresh products. All the pretzels are hand-rolled, always warm, and made from scratch every day.

Owners Dave Reppen and Lisa Kaniewski own two locations, one in downtown Traverse City and the original location in Petoskey. The backstory is that Lisa was actually a math teacher for 30 years, hence the schoolhouse inspired decor inside the shop. Upon entering, guests are greeted with a math problem and are entered to win a prize if answered correctly.
