Former Michigan Health Director Robert Gordon will testify about his abrupt departure from Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s administration.
Gordon was the one ordering COVID-19 restrictions after the governor lost powers in a court ruling.
He resigned from the Department of Health and Human Services in January.
Gordon received $155,000 in a separation agreement.
The reason for his resignation is still unclear.
It came after he signed an order allowing restaurants to reopen for indoor dining.
