Support TART Trails with Tails to Trails Remote Four-Paw 5k, Pet Portraits
If you need some motivation to get outside and get moving, look no further than to your furry friend.TART Trails is excited to be hosting their annual Tail to Trails 5k. It’s virtual this year, which allows people from all over the globe to participate and raise money for the Northern Michigan nonprofit.
“Virtual racing connects us, and helps us remain motivated—it reminds us that we’re not running alone—that we’re still all in this together, and still making each other better. We may be isolated, but we are still united in supporting strong, healthy, resilient communities, for both humans and pets alike!” said Caitlin Early, TART Trails’ Campaign and Development Officer.
Participants and their pets can choose to run or walk their 5k whenever and wherever they want from May 14 – May 23. Registration is $20 for individuals and $40 per family.
New this year, TART Trails has teamed up with the Susan Soffredine Rauser State Farm Agency and local author/illustrator, Ted Pryde, for the Pet Portrait fundraiser. In exchange for a $50 donation to TART Trails, Ted Pryde will illustrate a photo of the donor’s pet. All donations towards the Pet Portrait fundraiser benefit TART Trails.
