Police Searching for Former Deputy Who Killed 3 in Austin, Texas

Police are searching for a former sheriff’s deputy who killed three people in Austin, Texas.

Residents in the area were told they no longer have to shelter in place after a shooting Sunday morning.

Police do not know if the suspect is still in the city and have transitioned to a “fugitive search.”

They say 41-year-old Stephen Broderick killed two Hispanic women and a Black man.

Broderick apparently knew the victims, but police did not give a motive.
