FedEx Shooter Purchased Guns Despite Indiana Red Flag Laws

Police are releasing more information about the gunman who killed himself and eight others at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis last Thursday.

Investigators say 19-year-old Brandon Hole purchased two rifles he used in the shooting legally.

A few months before the shooting, police removed a gun from Hole’s house.

His mother had told police her son might try commit suicide by cop.

Under Indiana’s red flag law, police or family members can petition a state court to temporarily remove firearms from a person presenting a danger to themselves or others.

Officials have not said if a ruling was made that would have prevented Hole from purchasing weapons.
