Manafort Business Associate Gave Trump Campaign Information to Russia

The Treasury Department says a Ukrainian political consultant shared information about the 2016 Trump campaign with Russia.

On Thursday, the department released a statement accusing Konstantin Kilimnik of sharing polling data with Russian intelligence services.

Kilimnik was a business associate of Paul Manafort, Trump’s campaign chairman at the time.

The consultant was one of the people sanctioned by President Biden on Thursday, and has long been thought to have ties to Russian intelligence.
