Green Lake Twp. Breaks Ground on New Emergency Services Facility
An exciting new project broke ground Thursday in Green Lake Township.
The community is receiving a new emergency services facility right next to the existing fire station.
Plans to expand the station have been in the works for 21 years, and after a $3.2 million general bond, it’s becoming a reality.
The new facility will have all the amenities to provide quicker response times, including new sleeping quarters, education and training rooms and equipment storage.
“I am proud of the tradition and commitment to continuing providing the highest level of service to our community,” said Green Lake Twp. supervisor Marv Radtke. “Thank you all who have made this possible today.”
Completion of the facility is scheduled for January 2022.
