There is heightened security outside the Brooklyn Center, Minnesota police department this morning as protestors gather.
The protest is in response to a police-involved shooting and killing of a black driver on Sunday.
Police say officers were trying to arrest the driver, but he tried to get back in his car.
That’s when the officer shot the driver. The driver then drove off and hit another car.
Officers have deployed tear gas to try to disperse protestors.
