NHL Faces Vaccine Access Difficulties Between U.S. & Canadian Teams

The NHL is facing problems with COVID-19 vaccination policies because its teams are spread across the U.S. and Canada.

The three other major sports leagues—the NFL, NBA and MLB—are all fully based in the U.S.

They have plans to relax COVID-19 protocols after a percentage of team personnel are vaccinated.

NHL teams in the U.S. have greater access to the vaccine than Canadian teams, making it hard to create league-wide rules.

Canada has struggled to expand their vaccinations to more people across the country.
