Japanese Golfer Hideki Matsuyama Wins Masters Golf Tournament
Hideki Matsuyama won the Masters Golf Tournament on Sunday.
He is the first Japanese golfer to win any of the four major championships in men’s golf.
The four major championships include the Masters, U.S. Open, the Open Championship, and the PGA Championship.
Matsuyama was presented with the champions green jacket on Sunday.
He was a teenage golf prodigy in Japan and has been expected to break through on golf’s biggest stage.
He finished at 10 under par to take the win.
He said he hopes his win might inspire young Japanese golfers.
