Tiger Woods Was Speeding & Didn’t Break Before Crashing
Detectives say Tiger Woods was driving more than 40 miles over the speed limit when he crashed an SUV in California back in February.
The golf star has just now given police permission to release the details of what happened.
Detectives say Woods was driving between 84 to 87 mph. The posted speed limit was 45 mph.
They also say information from the car’s data recorder shows Woods never hit the brakes.
He suffered leg injuries from the crash.
Police say they will not ticket Woods for the accident. They also say he did not appear under the influence of any substance.
Woods thanked first responders and good samaritans who helped him and says he will continue to focus on his recovery and family.
