Thursday is the last of Northwest Michigan Health Services mobile vaccination clinics.

They are almost to their goal of vaccinating 1000 people in counties on the west side of the state.

Now, they’re looking to fill up their remaining appointments.

They say they have room for almost 100 more people to sign up.

Northwest Michigan Health Services Director of community health, Tammy Sorensen, says if they don’t fill up the rest of the appointments they will have to throw the remaining doses away.

Sorensen says, “We have 200 appointments available and we’re just over half full. So we’re trying for a big last push to get everybody to come out and get that COVID vaccine.”

On Thursday they will be at the Shelby Optimist Club in Oceana County.
