Michigan Health Officials Report 4,964 New Coronavirus Cases, 58 Deaths
Michigan health officials are reporting 4,964 new cases of the coronavirus and 58 additional COVID-19 deaths.
The deaths announced Tuesday includes 16 deaths identified during a vital records review.
State recoveries number 577,141 as of April 2. The state defines ‘recovered’ as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available).
