Michigan’s test positivity rate is more than 17%.

Just a month ago, it was at 4%.

Now, hospitals are starting to feel the wave of increased infections.

Spectrum Health in Ludington is treating 14 COVID-19 patients right now.

Two are in the ICU and 45% of their beds are full.

There are more than 50 COVID-19 patients at Munson Healthcare in Traverse City.

23 of them are in the ICU, and more than 70% of Munson’s beds are full.

Further north, there are three COVID-19 patients hospitalized at War Memorial Hospital in the Soo.

Two of them are in intensive care, but almost 70% of the hospital’s beds are full.
