Michigan Health Officials Report 10,293 New Coronavirus Cases, 21 Deaths
Michigan health officials are reporting 10,293 new cases of the coronavirus and 21 additional COVID-19 deaths.
Monday’s daily case count represents new referrals of confirmed cases to the MDHHS since Saturday, April 3. Over the two days, Sunday and Monday, the average number of new confirmed cases is 5,146 per day.
State recoveries number 577,141 as of April 2. The state defines ‘recovered’ as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available).
