Biden Administration To Boost Food Stamp Allocations
The Biden Administration says about 25 million people will get a boost in their food stamp benefits this month.
They say the boost is part of an executive order that will add one billion dollars to the program each month.
The Administration says the funds will go to people who were left out of an increase Congress approved last year.
This comes as the U.S. continues to experience a hunger crisis because of the coronavirus pandemic, with millions of people applying for food stamps.
