Michigan Health Officials Report 8,413 Coronavirus Cases, 57 Deaths
Michigan health officials are reporting 8,413 new cases of the coronavirus, and 57 additional deaths.
However, health officials say that 51 deaths were identified during a vital records review.
Michigan has now had 692,206 total confirmed coronavirus cases, and 16,218 total confirmed covid-related deaths.
As of Thursday, 4,522,415 doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered across the state.
And as of Friday, 577,141 Michiganders are reported to have recovered from the virus.
The state defines ‘recovered’ as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available).
