Traverse City Uncorked Returns in May

Traverse City Uncorked will return in May in celebration of Michigan Wine Month.Tsting Room

Traverse City Uncorked got canceled last year due to COVID-19.

So this year, they’re dedicating the whole month of May to local wineries.

The event uses a digital passport people can access on their phones when they check in at local wineries.

Traverse City Tourism says it’s a great way to return to some sense of normalcy, while still staying safe.

“It’s an easy way to get back into the wine space and yeah there’s a lot of pent up demand. People, of course, were learning to join us annually and then it was taken away last year and so I think there’s a lot of optimism to get back out on the wine trails both in Leelanau and Old Mission, really get to rediscover some of the spaces they learned to love over the years,” said Trever Tkach, President of Traverse City Tourism.

You can also earn prizes by checking in on your digital passport.
