Coronavirus Numbers Three Boxes

According to the CDC, Michigan officially has the worst infection rate of any state in the country, even counting New York City.

Michigan’s seven day case-average has been rising for almost three weeks.

We are now averaging more than 5,100 new cases per day. Compare that to a week ago, when it was about 3,600 per day.

In total, Michigan has reached 683,793 cases and 16,161 deaths since the pandemic began.

State recoveries number 569,460 as of March 26. The state defines ‘recovered’ as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available).
