Pfizer Says Vaccine Is Safe for Kids Ages 12 and Up

Pfizer says their COVID-19 vaccine is safe for kids as young as 12.

The study showed to the Pfizer vaccine to be strongly protective in ages 12 to 15. It has already been approved for anyone 16 or older.

This news means vaccinations for children could possibly begin before the next school year.

Pfizer plans to ask the Food and Drug Administration for emergency authorization in the coming weeks.
