CDC Says Michigan Has One of The Worst Infection Rates

According to the CDC, Michigan has one of the worst COVID-19 infection rates in the country right now.

It’s worse than any other state, but the CDC does not group New York City with New York State.

New York City is the only place with a higher infection rate than Michigan.

Michigan reported almost 5,200 new cases Tuesday alone, along with 48 additional deaths. We have now averaged more than 4,000 new cases per day for three days in a row.

And as of Monday, Michigan has administered more than 4.2 million vaccine doses.

The U.S. confirmed nearly 61,000 new cases Tuesday, putting us at more than 30 million total cases since the pandemic began; 551,000 Americans have died from the virus and almost 148 million vaccine doses have been administered in the U.S. so far.
