Businesses Expected to Oppose Tax Hike for $2 Million Infrastructure Plan
President Joe Biden wants $2 trillion to re-engineer America’s infrastructure and wants corporations to pay for it.
President Biden is traveling to Pittsburgh Wednesday to unveil the plan.
It includes $621 billion for roads, bridges and transportation infrastructure.
It would also move the country away from fossil fuels to clean energy.
It would be financed by raising the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%, among other measures. The plan will likely face strong opposition from the business community.
