‘Interlochen Grandma’ Partners With Northern Michigan Businesses to Make Sure Interlochen Arts Academy Students Have Sweet Easter Treats

Easter is typically a time to gather around with family, but we know that is so much harder these days. For the students at , they aren’t even able to see their families for the holiday.

That’s why a Northern Michigan woman wanted to make sure every student still feels some love!

Mary Bickey is affectionately known as the ‘Interlochen Grandma.’ She works for PMP Personnel Services and is a Traverse Connect Chamber Ambassador. Using her connections, she worked with businesses across Northern Michigan to secure donations.

“I do believe any little thing you do for anyone has a big impact,” Bickley said. “The smallest of actions can create a ripple effect and it is a philosophy I live by.”
