PPE Like Masks, Disinfectant Becomes Tax Deductible

Personal Protective Equipment you bought over the last year is now tax deductible.

The IRS is letting you write off items including masks, disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer.

It covers any items bought since Jan. 1 of last year. To get the tax write off, you’ll need to itemize deductions as part of your medical expenses for 2020.
