Cheboygan, Alpena Vaccination Clinics Have 1,600 New Open Spots

Vaccination clinics in Cheboygan and Alpena are adding 1,600 new vaccine spots this week.

People age 18 and older who live in Cheboygan, Montmorency and Presque Isle counties can show up for a vaccine, no appointment needed. But vaccinations are first-come, first-served.

There are 800 spots open on Wednesday in Cheboygan. The clinic is from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Or another 800 spots are open on Thursday in Alpena. That clinic is at the Alpena Mall from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

District Health Department No. 4 says when people arrive, they will be given a vaccination time.

People who already have appointments will still be able to get their vaccines at their scheduled time.
