Cadillac’s American Legion Post 94 Honors National Vietnam War Veterans Day
A ceremony was held at the Vietnam Memorial earlier in Washington D.C.
Local members of the American Legion Post 94 in Cadillac say they’re glad to see their brothers being honored and recognized for the sacrifices they made.
“The community supporting the veterans is just huge, and it feels so good that we’ve had that support now. Where some of the Vietnam Veterans didn’t get that support, and now they’re starting to feel it,” said C.J. Ryder, Navy Veteran.
This holiday has been observed annually since the signing of the Vietnam War veteran’s recognition act of 2017.
