Sudden cardiac arrest or a heart attack is the leading cause of death in the United States. There’s only a 7 to 9-percent chance of survival, which is why CPR is so critical to saving someone’s life should an emergency happen.
This weekend, Sunday, March 28 from 12 PM – 2 PM, there is a CPR class being offered inside Kirkbride Hall at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons in Traverse City. The hands-only CPR class will be about 20 – 30 minutes long and mannequins will be provided. Experts will be on hand to go over how CPR works, and walk people through the life-saving process.
It is $25 a person, and you can register here for the class.
