What’s Happening in Northern Michigan: Walloon Lake Inn, Black Star Farms, Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant
With Easter coming up on April 4th, there’s a number of area locations who are planning special Easter
brunches this year.
Courtney Sheffer from the West Michigan Tourist Association has some fun weekend activities for you.
Walloon Lake Inn will have Brunch on Easter Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., where they’ll be featuring dishes
like lemon souffle pancakes, crispy crème brulee french toast, and build your own omelets, along with bloody
marys and mimosas. Walloon Lake Inn has spectacular views of Walloon Lake, and you can call or visit their
website to make reservations for Easter Brunch.
Black Star Farms in Suttons Bay will be serving family-style Easter Brunch on April 4th in their spacious
ballroom from 9:30 until 2pm. They’re located just fifteen minutes from downtown Traverse City, and their
family-style brunch will include many locally-inspired favorites, with wine and mimosas available as well. You
can reserve your table for up to six people through Black Star Farms’ website.
If you’d like to plan a local Easter getaway, the Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant is a charming location inside
Bay View in Petoskey, who will also be serving up Easter Brunch. Brunch will be served on April 4th from noon
until 3pm, and reservations are available whether or not you are staying overnight at the Inn. Their Easter
menu this year includes prime rib, quiche, cinnamon swirl french toast, and a delicious array of dessert options.
