March is Women’s History Month and the Ramsdell Center for the Arts is celebrating in a big way!
From now until April 16th, their Hardy Hall is filled with an all-women art show, Soul Sisters. It features over 60 women artists all with ties to the Manistee community.
The exhibit was curated by Manistee artists Mary Wahr and Lynn Williams. They invited artists of all ages, talents, and mediums. There is also no limit to the artists’ age, so there are pieces from young women and their grandmothers.
Williams and Wahr say they are both excited to share these pieces with the public. The exhibit is free, but there is a capacity limit because of COVID-19 precautions, so It is open Fridays from 4 pm to 6 pm and Saturdays from 12 pm to 3 pm.
