Wednesday will mark one year since Michigan’s first documented cases of COVID-19.

Gov. Whitmer is asking Michiganders to commemorate the date by turning on their porch lights from 8 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday. The request is very similar to when some Michiganders early in the pandemic.

Also on Wednesday, 9&10 is bringing you a one-hour coronavirus crisis special called “The Pandemic: A Year of Change.”

We are taking you through everything that changed throughout the last year, from politics, to how your children learn, and the way small businesses are still adjusting.

Don’t miss “The Pandemic: A Year of Change” this Wednesday at 7 p.m. on Local 32.
