Woman Charged in Capitol Riots Asks for Better Prison Conditions
This woman is awaiting trial for being involved in the Jan. 6 capitol riots and is asking for better prison conditions.
Lisa Eisenhart’s attorney says she is in a maximum security level. This means she has less privileges than the general prison population.
He also says the temperature in her cell is made colder and anytime she leaves, she is in shackles.
She’s asking the federal judge overseeing her case to hold a hearing and possibly transfer her to a different jail.
