Regaining Happiness with Mental Toughness Despite Continued COVID-19 Life Changes

The last year has been tough. Everyone’s situation is different but we can all agree the last 12 months have been far from easy.Eric

“Being a happy person has everything to do with mental toughness,” said Eric Rittmeyer, former U.S. Marine and expert in mental toughness and emotional intelligence. “In my 20+ years of hiring, training, coaching, and speaking to people from all walks of life, I’ve learned there are some common traits that all happy people have,” Eric said. “The good news is, they’re very simple and can be quickly implemented by anyone.”

He is also the author of the book “The Emotional Marine – 68 Mental Toughness and Emotional Intelligence Secrets to Make Anyone Instantly Like You.”

Here are just a few examples of things Eric says happy people NEVER do:

  • They never make assumptions
  • They don’t gossip
  • They don’t feel sorry for themselves
  • They don’t hold grudges
