MTM On The Road: Butterflies Are Blooming Exhibition Features 60 Species of Butterflies, Moths

Starting today, when you walk through the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory at the , you’ll be surrounded by around 7,000 butterflies.

From now until April 30, you can explore the conservatory as 60 tropical species of butterflies and moths flutter around you.

You can learn a lot from what they eat to how they bloom into beautiful butterflies.

You’ll also want to check out the caterpillar room where you can watch as caterpillars feed on milkweed, eventually to turn into Monarch Butterflies.

After you check out all the butterflies and moths, take your kids over to the .

There, they can partake in activities that will teach them about butterflies and they can have some fun as they make their way through the monarch maze.
