If you’re looking for that socially distanced and yet cozy spot to enjoy some northern Michigan beer and comfort food, Hop Lot Brewing Company in Leelanau County’s Suttons Bay is the place to be.
The brewery has become a destination year-round and now more than ever, families are traveling there for their beer garden turned into an outdoor socially distanced igloo village.
People can place beer and food orders at a take-out window and all the items will be brought out to your designated igloo. Co-owner, Drew Lutke says the family business is always looking for ways to keep people feeling comfortable and interested in what they’re doing. He says he and his brother, Steve want people to feel safe and also enjoy the northern Michigan atmosphere.
