Biden to Nominate More Administration Leaders
A senior advisor to Biden tested positive for COVID-19.
President-elect Biden is set to nominate more members to his administration as he transitions to the White House.
That includes Michael Regan to lead the Environmental Protection Agency. Regan currently heads the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality.
And U.S. Rep. Deb Haaland as interior secretary.
If confirmed, Haaland would be the first Native American to serve in the cabinet.
At the same time, Cedric Richmond, a senior advisor to Biden, tested positive for COVID-19.
A transition spokeswoman said Biden took a coronavirus test Thursday and it came back negative.
