French President Diagnosed With COVID-19

French President Emmanuel Macron has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The French government says Macron was tested after he started showing early symptoms.

Macron had a busy week in the days leading up to his positive test meeting with Portugal’s prime minister and attending a French cabinet meeting.

Macron is now self-isolating for the next seven days and says he will continue to work.

There has been no word on the severity of his symptoms.
