McBain Barn Destroyed After Saturday Night Fire

A massive fire destroyed a barn in McBain.

Several local departments battled the blaze at Vans Farm Equipment on South Lucas Road around 7 p.m. Saturday night.

Crews say the structure was an old barn that was turned into a repair shop.

Tools and a tractor were inside, but the property owner says no one had been inside the building for at least two weeks.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
