Boyne City Man Accused of Threatening Construction Workers With Gun
A Boyne City man was arrested after state police say he threatened construction workers working outside his home with a handgun.
Troopers say back on October 7, they got a call from the construction workers that were installing fiber optic cable near the home of Nathan Matts.
The workers told state police that Matts came out with a handgun and threatened to kill them.
They also said Matts’ apparent mood swings were the reason they waited to call police until they left the scene.
State police arrested Matts on Wednesday and he was charged with two assault charges on Friday.
He will be back in court in November.
