Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday: Peach, Doug & Laker

It’s Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!

This week we have Peach, Doug and Laker–just three of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.

First up, we have Peach!

Peach is a bloodhound with the most adorable floppy ears. She is extremely affectionate and loves a good belly rub.

Peach becomes fast friends with everyone she meets. She is spayed and up-to-date on all of her vaccinations.

If you would like to adopt Peach, you can find her at the Humane Animal Treatment Society in Mount Pleasant.

Next up, we have Doug.

Doug is a Labrador retriever mix, although you may think he is a kangaroo because his favorite activity is jumping.

That’s how he got his nickname—Doug-a-roo!

Doug always has a smile on his face and his joy is contagious.

If you’d like to meet him yourself, head to Little Traverse Bay Humane Society in Harbor Springs.

And finally, we have Laker.

Laker is a bit shy when you first get to meet him, but give him a little time and he really starts to warm up.

Laker really loves head rubs and cozy spaces. His favorite activity is to lounge around.

If you would like to adopt Laker, you can find him at the Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City.

Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
