Sept. 8 Deadline for Those Impacted by May Flooding to Apply for Disaster Loans
If you were impacted by May’s flooding, you have less than a month to apply for disaster loans from the Small Business Administration.
The deadline is September 8.
The SBA says they already approved 285 low-interest disaster loans totaling more than $21 million.
The disaster declaration covers Arenac, Gladwin, Iosco, Midland, Saginaw counties in Michigan which are eligible for both Physical and Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the SBA.
Small businesses and most private nonprofit organizations in the following adjacent counties are eligible to apply only for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans: Alcona, Bay, Clare, Genesee, Gratiot, Isabella, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Roscommon, Shiawassee, Tuscola in Michigan.
