What do you do when life gives you lemons? You make lemonade to take with you on your 500-mile walk. This is exactly what Micheal ‘Rollo’ Rollin did after his truck broke down in Goetzville.

“I went to a benefit at Yooperman’s Bar and Grill in Goetzville in the Upper Peninsula, and my truck broke down on the way in,” said Rollin.  “I took it to a shop and they said it was going to be 3-weeks before it would get fixed. And I was like, Well, what am I gonna do now? I’m going to walk for charity”.

Rollins started his journey in the U.P. and made the 20-day journey all the way down to Ford Field in Detroit.

Rollin’s raised money for three organizations: EUP Hospice, Planet Ant Theatre, and the Wounded Warrior Project. So far, he has raised over $10,000.
