Menu Monday: Sorellina’s Chicken Carbonara

We celebrated ‘Menu Monday’ with our good friends from Sorellina in Traverse City. They recently made their move to a different location on Front Street in the downtown area and made updates Chicken Carbto their overall look.

“In Italian, Sorellina means ‘little sister,” said John McGree from HM Group, “… and this is the little sister to our first restaurant Harringtons, which we originally opened on Park Street right around the corner, and then when the development was going on here on Front Street, we decided to occupy this space and move, literally about 150 feet from the alley”.

The new space contains “soft tones and an elegant environment” that will allow diners to enjoy the calming ambiance as well as the food. And, even though they made some changes – they still offer delicious Italian cuisine including their signature dishes.

We were able to get a ‘behind the scenes’ look into the Sorellina kitchen – where Chef and Co-Owner, Joshua Vinocur shows us how they make the popular ‘Chicken Carbonara’. See the video below for the full demonstration.
