McLaren Northern Michigan Partners with Two Companies to Expand Access to PPE

As local hospitals work to stay prepared, McLaren Northern Michigan is partnering with two U.S. companies to expand access to domestic PPE.

The partnership with Premier, Inc. and Prestige Ameritech will allow for easier access to PPE which has been in short supply since the pandemic began.

The investment is important because of the lack of PPE that many hospitals are still experiencing.

McLaren says that this partnership will help now but also prepare them for the future.

“This partnership will provide a reliable and consistent supply of PPE products. If we do see a second wave this partnership is going to make sure that we have the proper PPE available,” said Public Information Officer Catherine Dewey.

McLaren says that safety is always their number one priority for their patients and their employees.
