51% of Michigan Households Have Completed Census Forms

The state of Michigan says residents are responding to this year’s Census at a high rate.

The state says around 51% of the state’s more than 4.5 million households have finished their Census forms.

That completion rate puts Michigan third among all 50 states, behind only Wisconsin and Minnesota.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, most of the state’s highest completion rates are centered downstate.

“Be Counted” campaign leaders say they plan to boost efforts in some northern Michigan counties that are lagging in finishing the census.

Remember, this year you can complete the census online for the first time ever.
